Not bad, but not as bright

The light is good value and easy to use. The light meets USCG standards but honestly not that bright. Not very effective in daylight, rain/fog.

Pros
  • For emergency locating in low light
Cons
  • Something different

Nice and bright. Used in strobe and security lights

Very good one hand switch. You should read the instructions and working with the light will be easy. Nice and bright personal life light etc. A must have if you are hiking or kayaking.

Pros
  • Uses two 1.5V AA batteries (not included)
Cons
  • So far so good

Good flashlight for sports

This is a good flashlight but with a yellow tint that makes it appear as bright as white light. However, it has a variety of ways to attach it to the life jacket. It uses two AA batteries so it lasts more than 48 hours.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Weight

Bright-Lite is the best in boating

I bought the ACR C Strobe twenty years ago and this current model matches the performance of the previous model. I use it when I walk my dog before sunrise and after dark and I feel very protected from oncoming cars in our rural area. Amazing value for money.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • No

45 lumens of brightness are enough for the night, but not for the day. The two side straps are not strong enough to hold the lifejacket and withstand any abuse, they will break immediately. For the price it's ok. It is only a strobe light and therefore not suitable for navigational fire. By law, strobe lights are for emergency signaling only and NOT for navigation or lighting.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Difficult to say
