I really like these lighters - they last a long time without reloading, are very reliable and work exactly as expected. If anything, they seem to light things up FASTER than butane lighters. They are unaffected by the wind and at high altitudes (I regularly sleep in places over 10,000ft) they work well while butane lighters start to struggle. My only complaints are rather minor: 1. They are heavier than they should be. They weigh 77 g (approx. 2.7 oz) and the butane lighter weighs 16 g. Not an emergency, but every gram counts and I feel like they could lighten the weight of these devices a bit. I would like to see a plastic cased version with a smaller battery. Some competitors offer them, but they're not that good.2. There is no way to know the battery level. Lithium-ion batteries last the longest when NOT fully charged, but of course you want a SMALL charge to be useful. It would have been nice to have at least a crude LED battery level indicator like other devices do.
