workers in your kitchen.

These are by no means fashionable towels but they are very functional and have an eyelet in the corner for hanging. I have stained, washed, dyed and dried my stock at least five times. Here's what you need to know: 1. It's cotton, and cotton shrinks. Really good kitchen towels of this type (mostly European) cost $10-15 each. (bought about 25 years ago, still looks nice after regular use). They're not the same, but they're still great.2. Wash them before use and immediately after stains appear. So far they seem to be taking hot water well and bleaching. These are workers, not gift towels.3. The absorbency increases with each application. Reduce or eliminate the amount of fabric softener.4. They should straighten and crease once dry, even if just a little. Although they don't look nicely ironed, they usually remain wrinkle-free. My German mother-in-law said many years ago that there are two types of towels needed in the kitchen: linen/flour sacks with a hanger in the corner for hard towels. work and a terry towel to dry hands and even dishes. At the time I thought it was stupid, but as you can see, every cook always has at least one flour sack cloth with them. Their use is endless. I will review this if they change after further use but I got what I expected and what I paid for.
