I bought this product to cut templates on my Brother Scan n Cut 2. I have already tried the product developed for my machine but the results have been disappointing. . . but this was my first attempt at cutting templates. My takeaway from this experience was that I was definitely looking for a more durable product that would stand up to extended use. After reading the reviews on this product I was hopeful. It clearly says it's 40 inches wide. My machine only takes 12" x 24" max so I got out my rotary cutter and just cut the 40" wide into 12" strips and 24" strips. First I have a medium stick mat and a regular one Used cutting knife on level 6 and speed 1. I had a perfect stencil but it stuck so well that I damaged it when removing it from the backing mat. So I switched to a light mat and used the same settings. Success! I have some stencils from 12 x 20 and 12 x 24 The material is still difficult to remove when your mat is new and very sticky, patience is key I am delighted with this product and would definitely recommend it The weight is perfect and has some density so the intricate cut outs stay flat and fit the design.VERY happy with this product.
