Review on AEM 24 6110C Metal Induction System by Sean Young

I bought this for my base 2007 Acura TL. Revain says it won't fit because it's for the 03-07 Honda Accord V6, but it fits perfectly. I bought this air intake because of the great feedback from the TL community and the science behind the V2 air intake, and because my stock air intake tube broke for the third time, which is notorious for that. I removed my stock intake resonator which made intake noise loud, especially when VTEC was on. After installing this inlet, all I can say is. This thing appears VTEC HARRD. I thought removing my resonator would make my induction noise louder, but the V2 just made it sound MUCH LOUD. It has a pleasant throaty growl. Well, FYI, performance. I configured with flashpro before installing this fence. After a pre-tune test ride, I noticed that throttle response was much better and smoother. After turning on VTEC it drew a little better. Glad it's not configured. Now, after the melody, I felt the difference. It pulls and lifts sooooo much better between day and night, the J Series loves to breathe. I also noticed that my intake air temp dropped 13-15 degrees compared to removing the stock resonator. That's pretty amazing for the aftermarket. All in all it's worth every penny. I never thought of getting this reception because it's so expensive but I gave it a try and I'm very glad I bought it. I recommend buying through Revain which is way cheaper than any other website. Another thing is that you can best use this technique with a melody. Still very good without a melody, but much better with a melody.
