This watch is great. He had all the municipal and private fields that I've played. Like a clock, the numbers are huge and easy to see. You don't get a touchscreen for this price and all functions are handled with four buttons. But you get used to it once you get the hang of it. I liked mine so much I gave one to my dad. You must select your class when you are in class, not at home. Ironically, his clocks and mine differed at times by about three feet. For our game it is not critical. As the saying goes, a man with two watches never knows what time it is. Either way, it tracks your steps and lets you know how far you are from the hole. You can adjust the position of the flag to 9 different positions on the green for more precision. It shows you the position of the hazards relative to the fairway centerline and the distance to them, but it only shows the fairway as a straight line, not the curve it actually takes. You can keep track of the clubs you use, collect points and download the information to your computer for further analysis. You can start your round at any hole, so it's also good for a shotgun start. It has many functions. It's not the most fashionable thing, but it's a really good tool and good value for money.
