Will not buy again

Good watch but very complicated. Has features you will never use on a golf course. Also unstable. I had a previous Garmin that I want to return.

Pros
  • understandable even to the old
Cons
  • No performance

Best golf investment I've ever bought

Loaded, put on and on the course. Boom! This is the best golf accessory I have ever bought with no fees. It also took my steps which was a bonus. You won't regret it, especially with the Prime price.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons

Sync issues

The watch worked properly with shooting accuracy and distance. Big minus of the synchronization function. Unable to sync for post-round analysis within 2 weeks. Spoke to Garmin with x2 support and without permission. The response was "We know this is an issue and it has been escalated to the software". Very disappointed in Garmin that at the price paid for the watch it is not possible to use all the features. Won't be buying from Garmin again. I'm just glad I didn't buy the more expensive…

Good battery life with GPS, viewfinder and accessories

I have nothing to complain about the watch. Lightweight and comfortable to wear. My first so can't compare it to the competition. I had it for almost 3 weeks before using it on the course and the initial battery life was still good. The distances are accurate after I changed the units from metric to yards. Some reviews say the manual is confusing but I figured the work was self explanatory. The up and down buttons to find the desired setting can be selected. The buttons require a good amount of

Works as advertised

The S20 is lightweight, comfortable and easy to use. Just read 3 or 4 pages of instructions and go. I suggest just using the base hole view the first time, like I did. This device read within a yard or two of the GPS watch my playmate was using and what the field markers were. Remember that the largest number (by size) is the distance to where the pen is located. If you haven't moved the pins, this is the center of the green. Unless you're playing golf with a handicap of 6 or higher and are…

Great beginner tool!

In general I am very satisfied with the purchase. It's perfect? no But for my main purpose - measuring distances - it's quite good. As many have said, there is definitely a learning curve. However, this is not a calculation! Within 2-4 rounds you will be familiar with all the options. It's not 'pretty' like some of the more colorful screens, but you're buying it for the 'number' with each shot, not for watching a movie. I love the feature that measures the distance to a club and shows it later…

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • There are problems

Couldn't be better for the price

This watch is great. He had all the municipal and private fields that I've played. Like a clock, the numbers are huge and easy to see. You don't get a touchscreen for this price and all functions are handled with four buttons. But you get used to it once you get the hang of it. I liked mine so much I gave one to my dad. You must select your class when you are in class, not at home. Ironically, his clocks and mine differed at times by about three feet. For our game it is not critical. As the…

One of my best golf purchases in recent years

Received my S20 yesterday. Played 18 holes this morning. Needless to say I'm more impressed than I am even though I would be with him, especially after reading some of the reviews here. Here's my review: I opened the box and connected the S20 to my laptop using the USB cable that came with it. I already have a Garmin account set up and software on my computer because I also have a Vivoactive HR as a daily activity tracker. It updated to the latest firmware 2.80 fairly quickly and then started…

  • Hard to remember but it was
