The pot is more durable than I expected. Made my first 12.5 gallon batch and used the pot for both brewing and fermenting. I had to make a wooden lid to keep the flies off the batch and the lid fitted tight enough that the gas bubbled out of the airlock instead of escaping around the plywood! I will be ordering a 20 gallon mash pot soon! I didn't check the precision field because I never checked that. Also when changing from a 5-6 gallon batch, a 12 gallon batch is much heavier. My feet looked like lobsters after taking the ulcer off the fire!
