We use it as a water dispenser on the counter and we love it! We replaced the industrial nipple that came with the kit with a smaller, regular stainless steel nipple that works great. The pot is more durable than I expected. Made my first 12.5 gallon batch and used the pot for both brewing and fermenting. I had to make a wooden lid to keep the flies off the batch and the lid fitted tight enough that the gas bubbled out of the airlock instead of escaping around the plywood! Very happy with the quality of this pot. It took me a while to set it up and test it, but I'm very happy with the results! Well made with no dents, scratches or imperfections. The lid fits well and sits flat. Welded handles are tight and clean. The only real "trick" is getting the spout and thermometer properly sealed.
