Review on πŸ“ Pocket Multimeter by Extech Instruments, Model MN10 by Curtis Donjuan

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Works great but comes with a dead battery.

This meter comes with a dead battery; Fortunately, the dead battery was of good quality and showed no signs of leakage. The battery compartment is difficult to open; After loosening the screws, you need to slightly pry off the cover from both ends. I bought it as a gift so it's good that it comes in a resealable package so I can test it and change the battery. Aside from these minor issues, the meter works great and is excellent value for money. I gave it four stars instead of five because shipping items with dead batteries can cause serious battery drain issues. The seller must rotate their shares; It can also replace old batteries (since the packaging closes easily) to avoid potential battery leakage problems.

Pros
  • Built in non-contact voltage tester for quick circuit identification
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
