Review on Pykal Whistling Tea Kettle ICool by Ricardo Mercado

I love this kettle. Large volume and very durable. I have a gas stove and the base of this kettle is wide enough so I can turn the burner to maximum without worrying about flames rising up the sides of the kettle. The push button lever is easy to use and the connection to the spout is always secure. It empties completely so the inside dries quickly and residue-free. The large opening makes filling easy and the lid fits tightly so no steam escapes. The whistle makes the perfect sound in my opinion. It's not loud, but I can hear it from anywhere in my very large house. The audio is easy on the ear and not at all annoying like most. I'm not crazy about infusors for two reasons. I love a strong cup of tea and it's not enough for me if the tea expands as it brews. They also open easily, but it's quite difficult for me to put them back together. However, they do come with a silicone insert that can be attached once removed from the mug. Now for the best feature. Handle. The description doesn't lie when it says it's going to be cool. The instructions tell you to wait a bit after turning off the fire before touching it, and the longer it has been cooking the longer the wait. I've simmered it for up to 4 minutes and never had to wait. I put out the fire and turn it on. Yes, warm, not even remotely hot. I've read the negative reviews and most seem to be due to issues I've found or the spout mechanism broke after a few months. When you get the kettle go to their website to register it, they give you a 1 year guarantee. I've only had this kettle for a short time so I'll update this review if I ever run into any issues.
