Installed in our 23ft RV above the main bed. We lived in the middle of nowhere so the only way to cool the RV at night was to open all the windows and vents and then use a personal fan. The outside installation was easy and similar to replacing other vents (i.e. old sealant). Inside the cabin, the wiring became a bit more manageable. I used a dremel with a large cutting wheel to trim and smooth the edges with a knife (this wasn't necessary as it's hidden). The unit is very quiet on the lowest settings and still moves a decent amount of air. High settings are not loud, but are noticeable. If you have the vent covered it gets a lot noisier and isn't really designed for this type of work. If the camper is hot in the evening, turning it on briefly can let the hot air out and make it much more comfortable inside. The screen is also easily removable for cleaning! Looking forward to next season and getting another one (this time with remote control) to install in the rear of the camper!
