Review on Stay Safe And Secure: Wireless Motion Sensor And Pager Bed Alarm For Elderly And Kids by Timothy Castillo

Peace of mind good for me

We've been using this item for a while now (also added some additional sensors and base units). We use it to monitor one of my parents who sometimes needs help to walk. We used to rely on someone just noticing when he gets up. This was problematic even during the day but also at night. We have one base unit in the kitchen and one on the other side of the house. The range is fantastic. The setup is very easy. no wifi setup, just follow the setup instructions (pushing a few buttons) and it's complete. The sensor unit can be turned off and when it's turned back on, it will automatically connect back to the base unit it was paired with before turned off.One sensor doesnt' seem to be able to connect to two base units simultaneously so we are just using to co-located sensors to connect to the two base units. We also set one up near the front door entry with a separate sound so we can tell what location is being activated.Loudest setting should easily work for almost any perceivable setting. Quietest one is also pretty loud but as it is supposed to be an alarm, we think it's quite ok. There are plenty of choices for sounds so no worries about having the same sound on a different device. The sensor is quite sensitive. So we usually turn it off when we are at the location because otherwise it keeps alarming. But it's just a simple on/off switch so no big deal.Highly recommend if you need a simple motion monitoring system. There isn't a connection or app for a phone so it's only useful for the people who are in the house. But this is exactly what we needed and at the price here, it was really worth it for us.

Pros
  • The wireless design provides greater flexibility, allowing you to move the sensor and pager around as needed
Cons
  • The product may be incompatible with certain types of alarms or sirens
