I installed a 1/4 inch thick Durock cement board for a bathroom renovation. Have used both "Rock On" screws and these Durock branded screws. I prefer Durock screws. The head of the Durock brand screws was less aggressive and did not tear the cement board as much as the Rock On brand screws. Because the screws are also blue, they are easier to see once installed in the cement board, and therefore it is easier to ensure you have all the screws required by the cement board manufacturer and in the correct order.
