The canvas was colored correctly but I counted the squares and the border on it was so closed I couldn't hook the entire design. I tried removing the border so I could use the canvas, but the border tore the canvas so much I couldn't adjust the design that much either. I ended up having to use my own canvas that I had at home. I also noticed that an entire color is missing, the DMC-898 color. After looking at the reviews, several people missed the color, and those who mentioned which color was missing all said that color as well. It seems to be an ongoing problem
