I really liked the idea. Bought as a gift, very happy with it. I filled it up to the fill line as directed, squeezed and most of the water came out at the top. It turns out that the compression line is at the bottom, and not at the top? So I froze and made a batch but it was very hard to get the ice cream. There is another piece of ice around the edges that also needs to be chopped off and climbed out. If you try to run warm water from the outside, the ice balls inside will melt together and won't come out. I really liked the idea, but it wasn't a very successful purchase.
