If you read most of the reviews you will get a pretty accurate assessment of the pros and cons of the suitcase kit. I'll start by saying it's very good for the price. Foam lining sucks. The padding looks nice and fills the pocket, but if it's meant to soften the roll bar impact on your bowler hat in a fall, forget it. It's easy. Directions are practically useless. You don't have to lower the windshield. You probably already have a set of torx sockets since Jeep YJs are full of these screws. If you don't have a torx set, you can get one cheaply from Harbor Freight. Three screws remove the windshield support legs (2), very easy. I only had to make two small X-shaped cuts to attach the windshield support bars to the main crossbar. The seat belt screw holes line up with the slot in the trunk/upholstery. When closing zippers, make sure they are fully closed before pulling on the zipper puller, otherwise the zipper will come loose. The color is dark, almost anthracite. There are comments about the cover not being long enough. This is necessary to accommodate the seat belt tensioners. I installed pipe insulation (see picture) to hide the protruding stem.
