The design seems pretty good. They fit pretty well and slide well over my riding shoes. I'm improving my technique and they'll probably break/loosen a bit. Closing is also difficult and I have to pinch each side to unzip. They have built in nylon loops to pull the boots in place which is handy. Once they are snug and keep your feet warm. On really cold days in the 20s, the chill will eventually catch up. This is to be expected. I am very satisfied with the design, the functionality and the price.
