I bought these W3s to wirelessly connect my new AudioEngine A5+ to my new AudioEngine S8 subwoofer. First, they lacked a mini RCA jack, which is needed to connect the W3. Imagine! Although all three components are AudioEngine and are supposedly designed to work together. I've been listening to my system for two hours now. The subwoofer is less than 20 feet from the "transmitter" which sits just 3 feet below the A5+ on the bookshelf. The base usually sounds great and works almost great, but sometimes they turn off for about ten seconds and then turn on again. It's annoying as hell. I'll wait a week and play around with placement a bit. If I can't get a stable connection I'll have to take the sub outside, drill holes and screw the sub to the bookshelf speakers and ship the W3 back to the dealer.
