It was just as easy to install as other window fasteners I've used. I really appreciate the fact that it comes with the necessary tools rather than clinging to hardware stores. The kit included a roll of duct tape, a half meter metal ruler (with storage case), a box cutter and a plastic squeegee. The only thing I would have liked would have been for the clasp itself to be a bit thicker. Because it's so thin, floating cat hair will get caught between it and the glass, and you can tell the impression by the sheen. Although its thinness allows you to break the clasp if needed instead of just stretching like clear plastic clasps. It's more like foil attached to cellophane. All in all a good deal and works well.
