Yes, the air filter is a very important part of any car's engine, but do you really need to spend a lot of money on an OEM or branded item? The answer is absolutely no! I bought this item after reading many reviews online. Although I was a bit skeptical at first, I decided to agree that this would be a good product for my 2005 Toyota 4Runner. In the past I've typically spent $22-$28 on non-brand OEM versions of the filter that you can buy at your local auto parts store. At just over $8, this one seemed too good to be true. I was positively surprised. The material is extremely durable and the filter element is definitely the caliber that any OEM filter has to offer. The fit was flawless with no evidence of gaps or creases. In other words, it "fits like a glove" and that's exactly how it's supposed to be. Certainly my car's performance has improved with this new filter and my MPG has increased by an average of 1.8 after driving for the past two weeks. I am very happy with the purchase, I will definitely recommend and buy again!
