Review on πŸ’§ Wave Enviro Stage Filtration System by Joshua Castillo

Revainrating 1 out of 5

this is water I don't know what's in it, can't help it, no wait, I like it.

This is normal because the company intentionally doesn't mention whether it reduces chloramines, neither in the description nor in the instructions nor on their website where chlorine is talked about a lot. I found it strange but there was a nice piece of paper in the package telling me not to return it but to contact them with any questions or concerns. So I called them and got a news machine. I left my name and number but they don't seem to be taking calls. So I wrote them a friendly e-mail at the address provided - my e-mail was not answered either. So now I'm just frustrated. I think I will have to test my water before and after filtration. Big. Exactly what I wanted to do this summer. EDIT: I'm increasing my rating to 4 stars as I'm less disappointed and it's holding up really well, especially after figuring out how to get the diverter working like new. I've been using it for almost a year to purify municipal water in California which has a lot of dissolved calcium and has had some hard water build up in the vent system making it difficult to pull out and turn off slowly. I found that a drop or two of the food grade mineral oil on the lever soaked in and restored it to like new condition! Be careful and only use cooking oil. It's for sale here on Revain. As far as chloramines or other contaminants are concerned, the best thing here is to let the water run through the filter as slowly as possible. Every day my coffee gets much better. That's definitely 4 stars.
