Gun lubricates well, clutch is easy to grip. The problem is that so much grease seeps through the push rod that it has to wait for it to be forced out through the end cap past the stock before the stock can be retracted to the locked position. And it's not just a little bit of lube - it's a big part of the tube. Macnaught USA's customer service is excellent. They quickly sent me a replacement follower but it didn't get any better. This was done using two different tubes of Mystik JT-6 high temperature multipurpose grease purchased from Farm & Fleet. My cheap Sears shotgun doesn't leak that much and it's 30 years old. It's just a wasteful mess.
