This antenna gives me very little gain of WiFi signal

I installed a Reolink Argus ECO security camera on my back porch to monitor my yard. It is designed for 1080p, but even with this more powerful (5dBi gain vs. 2dBi gain) this camera only works successfully at 720p. Without it, the camera won't start up at that resolution, so I'm happy with that for now.
