I was thrilled when I received the package. It was very easy to assemble. It does NOT weigh 2 pounds but it is a bit heavy. The material was torn, I don't even know how I tried once and I have a carpet. However, the hula hoop no longer holds after the second attempt. It's uneven and it's like the pieces are falling apart. And I didn't have a skipping rope
