In perfect condition. Very well packaged

UPDATE! Three years later not a single problem! Great mirrors! For our 2001 Dodge Ram 2500. Mirrors arrived in 4 days in perfect condition. Very well packed. No instructions. I searched YouTube for information on how to remove the door panel using my truck's year and model. It was very helpful. I slipped a pickle fork under the door panel to get the clips out. I bought new door panel clips because I wanted to hold the panel securely in place when reinstalling it. I searched YouTube on how to install towing mirrors for my truck year and model. I didn't find the exact same model but the information was useful. It also helps if you have an assistant, but you can do it yourself. I installed the passenger side first. Use new screws and brackets as new mirrors are much heavier than standard mirrors. Be sure to screw the double-threaded bolts fully into the mirror first, otherwise they will become too long. There were no problems on the passenger side, the power supply worked perfectly. Things didn't go so smoothly on the driver's side. The mirror is in good condition. I connected an electrical wire to the mirror and the mirror drive motor. I did a test before installing the door panel. I was able to adjust both mirrors, but only for a moment, and then it stopped working. As well as my radio and the interior lights of the truck. After investigating the problem, I found that the IOD fuse was blown. The fuse box is located at the bottom left of the steering wheel when the driver's door is open. The IOD fuse has a black fuse holder and is located near the center of the fuses. The blown fuse was 10 amp so I replaced it with 15 amp and everything worked again. Hopefully this will be a permanent solution. When reinstalling the driver's door panel, the top of the three screws holding the mirror meet the mirror motor located in the door panel. The door panel didn't fit, so I sawed off the end of the bolt just off the outside of the nut. The end of the nut is still touching the mirror motor, so I didn't overtighten the door panel in that area. Looks ok, works great. Except for a few modifications, the mirrors are of excellent quality, heavy and perfectly match the truck body. Can't beat the price! I haven't driven the car yet, but I don't expect any hesitation.
