Use it to run multiple hard drives on a server in zfs. Raidz sees the connections and reading and writing works fine for me. Like the map. I don't even think I need any drivers. Which is amazing. *** UPDATE *** The card is still awesome, but the included SATA route doesn't deliver enough power to each of the ports and all my drives keep getting errors to the point where multiple drives are showing 'failed' are displayed. This is because the SATA connector is rated for 1.5 amps. and 0.55 amps from 4 different connectors means you're choking on your drives. Leave a 5 star rating as the cables are a nice bonus but are not needed for the card itself.
