I would recommend anyone looking for a sub $200 microphone with XLR recording capability to buy the MPM-1000. Great, amazing, amazing. Just some of the adjectives that describe the quality of this microphone. This is by far the best mic I've seen in this price range and beyond. The only thing they're beginning to excel at is true pro-quality mics, which are typically hand-built or expensive. I bought two after looking at reviews of my wife's podcast she started. I was amazed at the quality. We spent over an hour speaking through these mics through the monitors in our headphones and were very surprised at the clarity of our voices. Professional broadcast sound required some EQ and post-processing compression. I will say the shock absorbers and table stands are terrible. Expect nothing from either. But they are easy to replace. I recommend swapping them out as soon as you can afford it so this mic can shine.
