Review on GROHE 28143000 Longlife Metallic Starlight by Tony Addis

I have a Grohe shower head with a hose that can be unhooked and used as a manual. It worked great except the original model hose leaked. The hose was metal but the outer jacket was plastic and after about 6 months of brief use it leaked. I was disappointed with the issue as this device was very expensive to begin with. I went to Revain to see if I should get a replacement hose or decide if I should start over with a brand new shower head and reduce my waste. After reading the reviews, I found that Grohe has improved the hose so that it is now metal without the short-lived plastic coating. I decided to take a chance and buy a replacement tube and give it a try. It's been 6 months since I replaced the hose and the new one works great! I'm so glad I decided to replace the hose instead of buying a brand new fitting. Grohe definitely took action to fix the design flaw and now the new hose is built to last! I would recommend this part to anyone who has an 'old' PE wrapped hose and just wants to replace it with something that works better. The Grohe shower head worked great for us and I'm glad I bought it. The shower head seems to stay clean even though our water has a lot of minerals that clogged the holes in the previous shower head. And I think the new hose is built to last! I highly recommend it and am very happy with my purchase.
