
The BNELL diamond sharpening stone works very well and quickly. Some of my less expensive knives went from dull to sharp in minutes. I have used it on German stealing knives and Japanese stealing knives. You don't need that much water on the stone to start sharpening. One knife in particular was dull and I used the 600 side and then the 1200 side. It came out super sharp. Sharpening instructions are included for use with your knives. It's good, but I prefer not to use it. I want to make sure I get it from the angle I want. The pads on the rail weren't very good anyway. Overall, this whetstone works much better than slotted kitchen knife sharpeners. This makes sharpening knives quick and easy.
