This heating pad is slightly larger and thicker than some others I have tried. With that thick metal ring; he feels better and stronger than others. I drank a cup of coffee for about half an hour. . . I put the thermometer in... and it was at 140º. I don't usually leave my coffee that long so this warmer works great for me. It features a six-hour auto shut-off. I wish it was a lot shorter but there is light at the top so I hope I don't forget to turn it off first. If the worst comes to the worst. . . I set a timer. I just don't care about the smell. It smells burned. . . and after hours of use. . . It still smells. I hope it's just because it's new and nothing to catch fire inside. This heater is made in China and sold on Revain by a Chinese company. At the current price of $24. . . That's at least twice as expensive as it should be. But in general. . . As long as I like it
