Although I knew the dimensions it was smaller than I expected and I love it! I decided not to take a book bag with me because I didn't want to carry another book bag. We have a diaper bag, one for our dogs outside, one for each of us for electronics/books. When traveling, there are many bags with books. It was just a nice change of pace and it's still easy to carry and transport. I like that both containers are made of wipe clean materials. I don't like that only one of the containers has a pocket, but it will still work fine. It doesn't seem sturdy enough to have the pump in the top pocket, although that seems like the ideal place to stash it. The sides are crumbling - it's literally flattened out if that helps you visualize. I'll still make it work because I think it's a great bag and one of the few that wasn't a book bag or diaper bag. I literally wanted my own pump bag, not one to put my diapers and laptop in.
