These sports bands are great because sweat doesn't penetrate the hem and brim of a baseball cap and doesn't soil the cap. These bands absorb all sweat from the forehead. They don't always stick 100% but that can be a good thing as you can take them off to wash the cap from time to time. I've been reusing the straps with the same cover for a longer period of time and they still work well. Out of the 15+ caps I've used them on, only one has given me trouble staying in place when taking the cap off my head. I think I have more to do with the special fabric of the band on the cap than the sport belt.
