I bought this pan to add to my kitchen utensils on the go when I got a 1800w DUXTOP portable burner for my 9100MC induction hob. A similar frying pan from All Clad is a workhorse in my home kitchen but will not work with an induction unit. I cook a lot in one pot on each of these pans and prefer this All Clad pan. This Cuisinart pan has taller sides so less food pops out when frying or sautéing foods like chopped onions. The higher sides also allow me to prepare 2-3 portions of stew or even soup in one pot - very practical. The folded rim of the pot ensures that leftovers can flow freely into the container. I prefer the two handle design when cooking and it packs much easier into my kitchen box than a long handle pan or frying pan. It's easy to clean too, as the corners where the sides of the pan meet the bottom are fairly rounded on the inside, so you can just wipe them down with a soft cleaning brush before putting them in the dishwasher. I love this jug so much I plan to buy a 1.5 liter jug from the same Cuisinart range to add to my travel kit for boiling water for tea and making/heating small portions.
