It's pretty easy to install by yourself, no fancy tools required, just follow the step by step instructions and there are some helpful videos on YouTube to guide you can help too. When the car is idling, the intake temperature suddenly increases, but seems to drop fairly quickly after you start driving again. I'll be testing this for a couple of weeks, but there's no sign of a noticeable increase in performance or sound. The plastic parts that came with the kit seemed very brittle and I was afraid of tearing the threads. Be careful when tightening them.
