I was a bit skeptical but this thing works. Well constructed. Generally colder. Removes the water flow restriction when the stat is normally in the closed position. The water pump (as well as the pulleys and belts) doesn't experience as much drag, so it adds some power. Rather an improvement on what you have. So between temporary tweaks and a few caveats, this works. This gives you something a standard thermostat doesn't have, and that's important. I'm thinking of trying maf.
