Review on 🔥 High Performance Reflect-A-Gold Heat Barrier Tape Roll - 2in x 16ft, Adhesive Backed by Jonathan Wilson

Used for new plastic exhaust pipe covers for MX motorcycles. looks like heavy duty duct tape but there is wax paper on the sticky side so I was able to cut the pieces to fit perfectly and not lose them. It applies like tape, but also like foil, and can bend and fit into odd angles and shapes (less stretchy than tape). I rode it for a few days and the plastic (which is held directly to the muffler) didn't melt or warp at all and it was a very hot muffler in the summer and that gold strap kept the plastic from melting what I feel says a lot of. For the price I'm very happy and may buy another roll to have on hand. The tape looks like a layer of gold foil on fiberglass and then a layer of rubber glue which sticks well but is also difficult to remove from the plastic/smooth surface. I don't think it could be reattached if it was removed from anything else, and I certainly don't want to be the one who has to remove it from anything, so make sure you want it glued, for always stuck. Note: I also cleaned the surface with 92% alcohol and wore nitrile gloves during application to keep oils or dirt out and the grip seems durable (especially after several days of riding/heat cycles). If it gets hard, cracks or stops working within a few years I will react, otherwise I feel good for at least 10 years (if not 100)
