I bought this for my car because I need multiple 12v sockets for various accessories because the ones I have just don't fit. And since I have an old machine, I don't have built-in USB sockets. I like the red color because it brings out the red highlights that I have under the dash and dash. The product comes with 3 12V sockets for connecting devices such as radar detectors, dashcams and other LED lighting that I want to install. I also like that it has two USB inputs. At 1 amp and the 2nd at 2.4 amp which is great for plugging in my phone for charging. I plan to attach velcro to the back and mount it vertically on the side of the dash that runs along the passenger side underneath. This keeps it tidy without adding clutter to my console or my top bar, and the cable is just the right length and I don't have to hide the extra cable. The plug cable is not long, so if you are looking for a 3-way socket that can be used for anything but short distances, this is not the right product for you. I would recommend this product to anyone who needs extra 12v plugs.
