Absolutely useless as a deep socket. The description says "Deep head allows for removal of longer screws." Look at my photo. You can see that there is metal halfway blocking use on long bolts like lug nuts. I bought this specifically for my boat trailer which has a narrow gap around the longer nuts. There (was) a piece of plastic in the socket but removing it gives an additional 1-2mm of depth which will hopefully hold my nuts but it would be ideal if the socket was as deep as usual. deep outlets.
