Although other people like these spoons, I recommend you buy another type. They are MUCH worse than the spoons I have from the old sets. The side prongs are good BUT the tip is a flat, horizontal, blunt spatula edge with a single protruding dragon tooth. He has no teeth. This makes it very difficult to pierce the edge of a grapefruit slice! My two old styles of spoons have more pointed tips with prongs all the way down. There are other spinners on Revain with this better feature. I placed this new spoon alongside my two old spoons side by side on a cutting board and began separating the segments from both halves of the grapefruit, three spoons at a time. Two old pointed spoons made the job easier. In comparison, this new blunt spoon made the task that much harder! If you like grapefruit more than the beautiful translucent look of this spoon, I recommend getting another spoon with a sharp, serrated tip. I can not recommend here!
