I bought these spoons because I've changed my diet to be more citrusy and decided I needed a good set of spoons. Well they are! I received it and used it immediately! Dishwasher safe as the handles may come loose prematurely. Hand wash them and they will last you for years! These spoons are beautiful to look at, easy to use and extremely effective at removing all parts of the grapefruit. They are far superior to other spoons available online here. Although other people like these spoons, I recommend you buy another type. They are MUCH worse than the spoons I have from the old sets. The side prongs are good BUT the tip is a flat, horizontal, blunt spatula edge with a single protruding dragon tooth. He has no teeth. This makes it very difficult to pierce the edge of a grapefruit slice! My two old styles of spoons have more pointed tips with prongs all the way down.
