The OEM thermal actuator left me stuck and I switched to an electronic conversion actuator which worked 50% of the time. I can't rely on a 50 percent chance that I'll have all-wheel drive when I need it. This was a very easy install and takes away the worry of turning your front axle on or off. Pull the lever and go. Very easy. One installation tip: Try turning the front driveshaft slowly by hand while attempting to thread in the driveshaft plug. This is a lot easier than just trying to push it in and risk crossing the fork.
