This switch performed flawlessly in my automotive project. It was easy to install and worked perfectly with no issues. The construction feels solid and durable. The only downside is that it is pricier than other similar switches on the market. However, the quality of this switch definitely justifies the cost. Overall, a great choice for any automotive enthusiast looking for reliable and high-quality switch.

Good product as a spare if you have an old style thermal drive. Ease of installation. No time to wait to get in the 4WD. Noticing the truck was getting sluggish, fuel economy dropped about 1.5mpg. The steering became noticeably heavier. Noticeable difference in noise at highway speeds along with little vibration. That's good for a truck that doesn't spend much time on the road, or as an off-road backup drive. It would make more sense to upgrade to a newer electronic actuator than this one.

The OEM thermal actuator left me stuck and I switched to an electronic conversion actuator which worked 50% of the time. I can't rely on a 50 percent chance that I'll have all-wheel drive when I need it. This was a very easy install and takes away the worry of turning your front axle on or off. Pull the lever and go. Very easy. One installation tip: Try turning the front driveshaft slowly by hand while attempting to thread in the driveshaft plug. This is a lot easier than just trying to push it
