Review on Maximize Your Compressed Air & Water Efficiency With ReelWorks Retractable Hose Reel - 65Ft, 300 Psi, Hybrid Polymer Hose by Kyle Terry

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Really like that it's front feeding. A little big and bulky, but there's a lot of hose.

I have another hose reel that I've used for years, but it bottom feeds - so it has to be mounted pretty high up. The mount/bracket makes it impossible to hang any other way. I've been looking for a top or front feeding reel, so was glad to find this one. First, it's a LOT bigger than I expected. It's the size of an emergency spare tire. But since it's mostly plastic it is not too heavy. I mounted this to my island work area - the compressor is in the bottom and I had 15 feet of hose spooled there on a hook. This is a LOT handier. Pulls out and winds easily. It includes a pair of QD fittings, but if your compressor has a female QD fitting (mine does) you'll need a female to male adapter that's not included. You have to install the bolts first, then slip on the reel and tighten up. There's not enough room for a regular sized socket wrench, but an adjustable fits.

Pros
  • Well made pneumatic air hose reel. Recommend this product.
Cons
  • It requires a lot of effort to wind up the hose, which can be time-consuming and frustrating
