Review on 🔌 Kidde Carbon Monoxide Detector: AC-Plug-In with Battery Backup, CO Alarm & Replacement Alert by Troy Boren

I have three of these detectors and they all work very well. When you pull the backup battery tab, you should hear a loud beep indicating it is working and the batteries have been recognized correctly. When connected to the wall, the green light is constantly on. When operating in backup mode, it flashes green every 60 seconds to indicate it's still running and flashes red when the backup battery is low and needs replacing. As with all CO alarms, you should install them at least slightly underground and away from heaters to avoid false alarms. As always, see the included safety guide for more product information. One last thing to note, although it comes in a clam shell, just use a box opener and you can bypass it, but it's still annoying. The product itself is great and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to protect themselves and/or their family.
