Review on General Tools IRT207 Laser Temperature Gun, Mid-Range 8:1 Thermal Detector, Infrared Thermometer by Karen Robinson

This General Tools infrared thermometer is excellent. It's available at a reasonable price, fairly accurate in temperature, and almost instantaneously. My only gripe is that it falls asleep after short periods of inactivity and takes about 3 seconds to wake up again when you pull the trigger, which is a problem if you're taking the temperature, pausing to record it (if you z , perform a power audit) and measure the temperature again 10 seconds after the device has entered sleep mode. Small parts aside, it's also a great tool and fun toy for crafters.
