I'm certainly not an electrician, but I'm a good handyman when it comes to relatively simple household tasks. I believe this will be for those who don't need to strip wires on a daily basis. I tested several wires of different gauges and stripped all of them without a single problem. Ideal for ceiling light installation, repairing broken wires and general home repairs and upgrades. Ergonomic and easy to use. Requires very little hand strength and no pinching. The stripper is well made and built to last. Works easily with 2-32 AWG wire! Overall I'm very satisfied and this replaces a much cheaper wire brace I bought years ago. It works great and easily gets FIVE STARS from me, along with my honest and heartfelt recommendation!
