Everything worked as described. This was my first attempt at repairing a day/night tint for our RV. I was able to finish it but it took longer than I expected and the hardest part was adjusting the tension to keep the hue in place and stay level. I went to the product website and looked at their instructions and also watched some YouTube videos. Some were good and helpful, many were not. It's important to read the documentation and make sure your shades are compatible with the product. My shade used 4 cords so it was more difficult. get mixed up in the process. It's also important to keep the shades together throughout the process. A video suggested using rubber bands, which I did, and that seemed to help make them more manageable. If I have to make another one I think it will be a lot easier. I have a better understanding of this process and now also know the logic of the cocking process and the parts that came with the kit were much easier to use for this process as well.
