Re-tension the blind "Day-Night" for the first time. I liked the instructions because they describe everything step by step. The only downside was that the tip of the cord would constantly fray and the tie would expand, making it particularly difficult to get through the hole in the end cap. I constantly had to cut the ends or wet them to keep them together. The latches were a little different than my originals and held tight once you screwed them in, a nice upgrade. Basically a good kit.

When the rope on the curtain on our 13 year old van broke, we were left without a curtain for the rest of our trip. I bought this kit when we got back and changed the string myself. This is a much heavier string than the original, hopefully I can last more than a meager 13 years. Oh wait I'm old, I could have died in 13 years. Well, then this could be my last blind repair. Very easy with the enclosed instructions. The next time this happens, order someone else to carry the transporter inside.

Worked well pulling the blind and includes all the parts needed to repair the blind. The step-by-step instructions could be a bit clearer. However, the supplied strings could have been presented and packaged more favorably for the customer. The set includes five 20-foot strings. For a large lampshade with four cords, the cords are about 12 or 13 feet long. So it takes 4 out of 5 bundles of cord to pull a curtain like this, and you end up casting about 32 feet of cord (4 pieces that are 8 feet…

Everything worked as described. This was my first attempt at repairing a day/night tint for our RV. I was able to finish it but it took longer than I expected and the hardest part was adjusting the tension to keep the hue in place and stay level.
