Perfect replacement for my 2013 RX350 and my son and I were able to replace it in 15 minutes. Although this item was more expensive than other similar OEM parts available from Revain, the pictures clearly showed that it had a slant on the side that attached to the hood, making it flush. The lack of angle is a major complaint I've found with other brands. The only delay was that I couldn't remove the body-side retaining clip due to space constraints, but it ended up being plastic instead of metal and my wedge driver was able to remove it easily from the ball joint without damage. Tip: Install from the side of the body first and use a long thin screwdriver to just hold the clip open. Alternatively, you can partially open the clip on the side of the tip and insert a wooden toothpick from the other slider so that it stays open after the screwdriver is removed. Slide it into and over the ball joint and then remove the screwdriver or toothpick. This will help prevent damage to the rate clamp.
